Busitema University is a multi-campus Public University located in Eastern Uganda. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill vacant positions at the University. Interested persons who meet the requirements should submit 3 sets of applications duly signed together with detailed Curriculum Vitae with names of three referees, Academic Certificates and Transcripts and copies of Appointment Letters, 3 recent passport photographs in envelopes addressed to the University Secretary, Busitema University, P.O. 1. A PhD in Electrical Engineering (with specialty in Power Systems Engineering) from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
2. Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (with specialty in Power Systems Engineering) from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
3. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
4. Six (6) years of University teaching experience or relevant working experience in a reputabl organization or Industry
5. Ten (10) recognized publications in the area of specialization, four (4) of which as the First/ Corresponding/ Senior author.
6. Supervision of three (3) Graduate students (Masters or PhD)
7. Evidence of contribution to Community
8. Age limit: Should not have reached sixty five (65) years of age by deadline for submission of application.

5. No working experience for those with PhD or three (3) years of University teaching experience or relevant working experience in a reputable Organization or Industry for those without PhD.
