Dr. Saphina Biira attends OWSD Early Career Fellowships Workshop in Trieste, Italy

Attending the OWSD Early Career Fellowships Workshop in Trieste, Italy from My 29th 2023 to June 2nd, 2023.  I was privileged to be among the EC-OWSD winners of USD 50,000 grant award funded by IDRC through TWAS-UNESCO.

Prof. Romain Murenzi, Executive Director of TWAS - The World Academy of Sciences addressed exceptional 2022 Early Career fellows, underlining the significance of science and technology in the advancement of developing countries. He emphasized the need to support the brilliant minds to shape a brighter future! My project is expected to tackle SDG#3, 6,7, 11, 12, 13.
