Busitema University Moves Up in Temporal Webometrics Rankings

The recent temporary Webometrics rankings based on Google Scholar Citations (GSC) institutional profiles have been released, with the consideration of over 5,600 institutions having more than 1,000 citations between, January 1st-20th, 2024, Busitema University has secured the fifth (5th) position in Uganda.

This development reflects a notable improvement for Busitema University, demonstrating steady progress from its previous ranking of sixth (6th) position to its current standing at fifth (5th) position in the Country. Makerere University maintains its position at the top of the Ugandan rankings. We are delighted to see Busitema University's upward path in the Temporal Webometrics rankings. This achievement reflects that Busitema's researchers are producing impactful and influential scholarly work. While the current rankings reflect an impressive standing, the University is expected to improve steadily in the final rankings, which are to be released soon.
