In a significant step towards enhancing global collaboration and improving medical education standards, Busitema University Vice Chancellor Prof. Paul Waako led a delegation to visit Chongqing Medical and Pharmaceutical College. The purpose of this visit was to foster partnerships in medical training and to exchange valuable insights in the field of Medical education. During the visit, the Hospital administration at Chongqing Medical and Pharmaceutical College generously guided the team through their state-of-the-art teaching hospital facility, along with their simulation laboratories. These immersive experiences shared by our Chinese counterparts are poised to bring about transformative changes in the quality of medical education at Busitema University.
Accompanying Vice Chancellor were; distinguished members of the Busitema University, including Dr. Muweesi Charles, the Director of the Directorate of Institutional Advancement, and Dr. Samuel Baker Obakiro, Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, among other esteemed university officials. This visit marks a significant milestone in Busitema University's ongoing efforts to strengthen its global network and further elevate the standard of medical education, research, and practice.
