CPA Josephine Okui Ossiya elected first female President of ICPAU

CPA Ms. Josephine Okui Ossiya has made history by becoming the first female President of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) taking over from CPA Constant Othieno Mayende after two years at the helm. She is also the Board Member of the Bank of Uganda

CPA Okui is a certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in finance, audit, treasury management, risk management, general management and board governance; and a practitioner at Rona and Partners. She is the Chairperson of the Audit Committee of Council, Busitema University. She is also the Chief Finance Officer at Bujagali Energy Ltd, a position held since November 2014. 

Busitema University congratulates CPA Okui on her well deserved election and wishes her success in her new role as the President of ICPAU.
