News Date

A welcoming and joyful admission ceremony was held at Busitema University to formally welcome the first-year students to the Faculty of Health Sciences. Members of the university administration attended the ceremony and gave the new students a sincere welcome. Students received education on a number of important topics related to their time at university at the ceremony. They were first and foremost informed that their position as students had changed, placing an emphasis on participation in the learning process. This request for involvement is in line with the university's dedication to both academic excellence and individual development. Students were also urged to embrace innovation, which is one of the institution's key values. They were reminded of the significance of innovation and forward-thinking in the rapidly changing world of today.

Students were also made aware of the transition from their past academic experiences to university life in addition to these important lessons. The institution recognized that many students did exceptionally well in their A-level coursework, but they now find themselves in a setting with more freedom and less constraints. In light of this, Busitema University students were urged to assume personal accountability for their life and make good decisions. Furthermore, the University emphasized the value of having access to technology in light of the increasingly digital age. Students were advised to purchase computers or cellphones in order to fully participate in the contemporary educational environment because hands-on learning was starting to become the standard. For the entering students, this acceptance ceremony signified the start of an exciting academic journey full of opportunity for growth, innovation, and personal development.image
