Dean Nomination: Science and Education

The current Dean of the Faculty of Science and Education's term will conclude in December of this year. Consequently, preparations for the election of a new Dean of Faculty must commence.

Sections 53(1) and 54(1) of the Act outline the election procedures for the Dean of Faculty and Head of Department, respectively. Section 51(1) defines academic staff as full-time faculty members, including Professors, Associate Professors, Senior Lecturers, Lecturers, and Assistant Lecturers, employed for both teaching and research purposes. Teaching Assistants engaged full-time in teaching and research are also considered academic staff. Therefore, only full-time academic staff are eligible to vote in this election. Download Full Program
